A florist with a shop in Southwell is set to compete in the latest series of the BBC’s Apprentice in which she will try to persuade Lord Sugar to make her his next business partner.
Elizabeth McKenna, 39, runs Flowers By Susan, on King Street, Southwell, and Portland Road, West Bridgford.
She joins 17 other entrepreneurs competing to win a £250,000 investment for their business.
Elizabeth describes herself as a “slightly bonkers country girl” and has a love of dogs and horses.
She says she is a hands-on practical person and will have a go at doing any job.
The Apprentice is on BBC1 on Wednesdays at 9pm, from next week.
