The Festival of Food and Drink returns to Thoresby Park, Nottinghamshire for its 12th year
The 12th year of a festival of food and drink will offer a weekend of delicious food and a line-up of guest TV chefs.
The popular Thoresby Park Food and Drink Festival will be taking place over the weekend of September 20 and 21 at Thoresby Park.
Alongside a line-up of guest chefs, there will be over 160 stalls showcasing a variety of food and drink products, gifts, crafts and homewares as well as plenty of entertainment throughout the two-day festival.
On Saturday (September 20), the festival will welcome Simon Rimmer, Rosemary Shrager and Paul A Young to the festival’s covered 50-seater cookery theatre.
Simon Rimmer has been waking up the nation for almost 13 years as chef and co-presenter of Channel 4’s Sunday Brunch, and will take to the stage on Saturday to share his expert cooking skills.
Back by popular demand, Rosemary Shrager will once again be entertaining visitors with her distinctive humour as well as demonstrating some of her favourite recipes.
Rosemary endeared herself to the nation on 'I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here' by showcasing her versatile cooking skills.
Her recent shows include Cooking with the Stars, The Big Family Cooking Showdown and The Real Marigold Hotel. Professionally, Rosemary has worked with Pierre Koffman at Tante Claire in London and Jean-Christophe Novelli.
Paul A Young has been named one of the world’s finest master chocolatiers and one of the best in the UK since opening his first chocolaterie in 2006.
He has appear on This Morning, Alan Titchmarsh, Sunday Brunch, Saturday Kitchen, The Apprentice, Blue Peter, The Sweet Makers, Snack Masters, and Top Chef US to name a few.
Paul has four books, Adventures with Chocolate, Sensational Chocolate, How to Make Chocolates and The Joy of Chocolate.
At the festival, the Cookery Theatre will once again be hosted by Chris Bavin, who has worked in the fresh produce industry for over 20 years and is a presenter of BBC’s Eat Well for Less.
In the coming weeks, a fresh batch of special guests will be announced for the show’s second day on Sunday (September 21).
The festival will also see live music, bars, cocktails and new bookable sessions as well as family-friendly events such as Kids’ Cookery School, Circus School and arts and crafts.
Tickets can be bought via the festival website for £12, and there are options for VIP tickets, children and family options.
Children under the age of six have free entry.
