Bakkavor looking to recruit another 202 workers at its Newark site




More than 200 jobs are being created by a food manufacturer at its Newark site.

Bakkavor, the UK’s leading manufacturer of fresh prepared food, has 202 positions available at its site on Jessop Way.

It is part of a recruitment campaign that will see 1,801 more people employed across its UK sites.

A wide range of positions are available at the Newark site for skilled and semi-skilled individuals, including factory operative, warehouse worker, engineer, accounts assistant, senior process technologist, commercial controller and specifications technologist.

Hours offered depend on the role and differ from day and night shift work and include permanent and part time roles.

Successful applicants will be invited to meet a member of the Bakkavor team in an informal interview.

Bakkavor works with several of the UK’s major supermarkets producing fresh prepared meals, desserts, salads, pizza and bread.

It currently employs 16,000 people across the UK, and another 3,000 globally.
