Four arrested after teen stabbed

Four men have been arrested after a 17-year-old was stabbed in an incident in Cotgrave last night (Tuesday).

Police were called to the Cotgrave Shopping Precinct at around 8.05pm, where they found the boy with a single stab wound.

Three men, aged 20, 21 and 24 and all from the Cotgrave area, were arrested at a flat above one of the business premises on the precinct shortly after the incident.

A fourth man, who is 47, was arrested at an address in Cotgrave in the early hours of this morning.

All four will be questioned by detectives later today.

The 17-year-old was taken to the Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham for treatment, but his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening at this stage.
