Incredible shots in and around Newark have revealed the real impact of flooding.

Dramatically high river levels had always been expected following long periods of heavy rain. However, many have said they didn't expect these floods to trump that of those in February last year.

Having done so, we've compiled a gallery of pictures and footage that could show a Newark on Sea, rather than the Trent.
