Garden waste service to be extended

A garden waste collection service is being extended to
more villages in Newark and Sherwood following the success of a pilot scheme.
Residents in Farnsfield, Halam and Edingley can join
the service, run by Mansfield District Council, which starts on April 1.
The council started collecting garden waste in Blidworth, Boughton, Clipstone, Edwinstowe, Kirton, Ollerton, Perlethorpe, Rainworth, Rufford, Southwell, Upton, Walesby and Wellow last year.
The service costs £30.
