Employees from Newark and Sherwood District Council joined a beat police officer on her walkabout through several villages in Nottinghamshire

Employees of Newark and Sherwood District Council joined a police officer on a patrol through several villages yesterday, Wednesday, March 13.

They joined local beat officer PC 2548 Deborah Bakin as she conducted her duties walking through several villages.

The patrol gave a visible policing presence through Bleasby and Thurgarton as the group went on their walkabout.

Together, the group spoke to villagers to find out what issues are affecting residents in the community.
