Gunthorpe crash: Man taken to hospital

A man was taken to hospital after a crash on Lowdham Road in Gunthorpe.
The incident, on the A6097 close to Gunthorpe Bridge on the East Bridgford side, involved a Renault Megane and a lorry. The driver of the car was taken to Queen's Medical Centre in Nottingham, but his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
Paramedics had been called at around 1.45pm.
