Inspiration charity shop in Farnsfield creates Remembrance window display




A village shop has created a window display to honour those who lost their lives in the wars.

Inspiration, a charity shop on Main Street, Farnsfield has set up its annual Remembrance window display.

Linda Taylor, a friend of the team of volunteers at Inspiration has donated hand knitted items such as red poppies that are part of the display.

Lyndsay Townsend, a member of the team said: “It is important to remember those who gave their lives in the Great Wars.

“The village always supports the British Legion who have a parade on Remembrance Sunday.”

The charity shop supports the St Michael Church of England church and other charities in the area.
