Morgan Tucker marks ten years in business
Leading consulting engineers Morgan Tucker marked its tenth year in business at a special event in Newark.
Founder and managing director Matthew Tucker was joined at the National Civil War Centre by guests celebrating the firm’s landmark year, which has also been its most successful to date.
Since its launch in 2005, the firm has secured more than 2,150 contracts worth a total of more than £11m.
Morgan Tucker now manages more than £3bn-worth of construction projects worldwide and employs 125 staff across eight offices.
Mr Tucker said the firm had reached a key milestone not only in business terms, but in achieving its expansion targets.
“It is an exciting time for us in terms of growth and strategic development," he said.
Earlier this year the company secured a £1m investment from the Foresight Group.
Mr Tucker, who started the business in his spare room, said that had allowed them to make a key acquisition and recruit industry-leading professionals to drive their expansion strategy.
Morgan Tucker was appointed to design and deliver a construction logistics facility for the London 2012 Olympic Park — one of the biggest of its kind in the world.
Within the last ten months the firm has opened a new office in Nottingham, which has grown from six staff to 20.
