Heavy traffic between A1 and A46 southbound

There is heavy traffic and increasing delays on the A1 southbound.

AA Traffic News are reporting delays of 22 minutes between the A1 and A46 southbound at Newark Showground and the Air Museum turn off.

The average speed on the road is currently just ten miles per hour.
