Traffic is building up around Newark this afternoon, with slow traffic on the A46 and A617.

TRAFFIC is building up in and around Newark this afternoon.

There are already reports that traffic is queueing in all directions at the Friendly Farmer roundabout and there are queues going down the A17 as well.

There are delays of ten minutes on the A46 northbound between Fosse Road at the Lord Ted Roundabout and the Newark Showground / Air Museum Turn Off of the A1.

Traffic is also queueing on the A617 between Kelham and Averham, and there are also reports of queueing traffic on the A1133 past South Collingham.
