The live event will be made public on the museum’s website and social media channels.

Holocaust Memorial day, on January 27, remembers the millions of victims murdered under Nazi persecution.

The museum Chief Curator Alex Bond said: “We have been a home from home for Holocaust survivors for over 30 years.

The mission of the museum is to ensure the testimonies of the Holocaust survivors are used to teach future generations, to ensure that the horrors of the Holocaust can resonate with people today to exact change in our society.

The National Holocaust Centre and Museum has been awarded National Portfolio Organisation status and a multi-million pound investment from the National Lottery Heritage Fund.

The money will pay for a redevelopment of the museum, its gardens and teaching spaces.
