Newark firefighters rescue horse trapped on wooden fencing

A horse trapped on wooden fencing was set free by Newark firefighters.
A crew from Newark was called to the incident on Gainsborough Road at the junction with Girton Lane at 2.11pm on Monday.
The horse, stuck on wooden fencing, was released and rescued by firefighters using small tools.
The RSPCA was also made aware.
