Lowdham Horticultural Society to host its annual spring show
A horticultural society is inviting the community to attend its annual spring show.
Lowdham Horticultural Society is holding its spring show on Sunday (April 6) at Lowdham Village Hall from 1pm until 3.30pm and the community are being urged to come and support the event, either as a guest or a stall holder.
There will be displays of artwork by Lowdham Painting for Pleasure Group and flower arrangements by Lowdham Flower Guild.
There will be tea and homemade refreshments available, as well as a variety of stalls and family-friendly activities such as the free growing and crafting activities.
Entries for the show are still open, and either people are novice or experienced gardeners, there are classes open to all — home grown flowers, shrubs, pot plants, and floral art.
The topic for the photograph competition this year is Snowdrops.
All the exhibits, whether they win a prize or not will be showcased on the show.
Entry to the show is £1.50 per adult as it is paid at the door. People under 16 enter for free.
