Improving Outcomes Through Legal Support grant awarded by the Access to Justice Foundation on behalf of the Ministry of Justice given to Citizen’s Advice Sherwood and Newark

Member of Parliament Robert Jenrick has announced a huge grant awarded to Citizens Advice Sherwood and Newark.

“I am happy to announce that Citizens Advice Sherwood and Newark has been granted a substantial Improving Outcomes Through Legal Support grant of £140,646,” he said.

The grant has been awarded by the Access to Justice Foundation on behalf of the Ministry of Justice.

“It reflects their dedication to fostering accessible and effective legal support for our constituents,” said Mr Jenrick.

“This new funding will help organisations continue to support people experiencing legal problems to resolve them as early as possible.

“The Ministry of Justice’s recognition of the pivotal role played by organisations offering early legal support and advice is evident through their substantial investments and grants.

“Since 2015, the Ministry of Justice has devoted over £25m to strengthen this sector, emphasising the importance of helping individuals resolve legal issues swiftly and effectively.”
