Hundreds of pounds raised at classic car show

A classic car show raised hundreds of pounds for a cancer charity.

The show, at Sconce and Devon Park on Sunday, raised £960 for Prostate Cancer UK.

The East Midlands Classic Vehicle Club organised the show which included 240 classic cars and vehicles.

Competitions were held in various categories to find the best classic vehicles.

Event founder Mr Alan Birkett said: "I would like to say a big thank you to everyone who attended and donated on Sunday.

"We had a great response all round. The weather wasn't too bad and we had a good day."
