Cherubs, Edwinstowe, enjoy visit from ice-cream van

Cherubs, Edwinstowe, arranged for Manfredi’s ice-cream van to their nursery so the children could enjoy a treat.

A spokesman for the nursery said: “Usually we would be out and about in our local community but due to covid-19 we are unable to go on outings at this current time so we arranged for the ice-cream man to come to us.

“The children’s faces were surprised and they were jumping with excitement when they saw and heard the van.

“The children and staff choose one each and there were some messy faces after they had finished.

“The children have been pretending to be the ice-cream man in their role plays and asked for the staff to play the music.”
