Belton House is ready to sparkle with more than one million Christmas lights

An illuminated trail is set to bring sparkle to a National Trust property.

Belton House will be home to more than a million twinkling lights this festive season, from November 25 to January 2.

Colourful trees and illuminated installations will be choreographed to a soundtrack of much-loved seasonal music, transforming the site into a winter wonderland.

There will also be trees covered with neon lights and an immersive triangular tunnel filled with colour changing hues and plenty of selfie moments.

Another highlight of this years trail will be the Carol of the Bells, where colour changing spheres will light up the night sky.

Independent street food vendors will also be at Belton House, so you can enjoy your walk under the stars with festive favourites and winter warmers.
