Jackknifed horsebox containing bull causes A1 southbound delays

There is slow-moving traffic on the A1 southbound after a horsebox was left jackknifed near Markham Moor roundabout.

Nottinghamshire Police were called to the incident at 3.15pm this afternoon (May 21).

Police confirmed the horsebox contained a bull, which was left uninjured by the incident.

One lane was completely blocked, but cars were able to pass slowly on the other line past the incident.
