Jools Holland and his Rhythm and Blues Orchestra postpones appearance at Nottingham's Royal Concert Hall to 2021
Pianist and band leader Jools Holland and his Rhythm and Blues Orchestra have postponed their appearance at at the Royal Concert Hall, Nottingham, from December 2 to Friday November 12, 2021.
Original tickets remain valid and all ticket holders will be contacted with more details.
Jools Holland and promoter Harvey Goldsmith have announced the postponement of the planned autumn/winter tour because of the ongoing pandemic.
Special guest performances for the new tour have yet to be announced.
The tour was due to have started in Southend on October 29 and end in Leeds on December 20.
Jools Holland said: “Since the age of 17, I have spent my entire life performing on tour.
“Therefore, it is with sadness and disappointment that myself, my orchestra and our special guests have been forced to postpone our autumn and winter shows.
“ I apologise to everyone who was looking forward to seeing us, and I speak for my whole orchestra and crew, when I say we are all longing to return to the boogie playing field next year. I hope that all of you are all right.”
