Kelham Bridge closed due to flooding and A1 northbound at Balderton/Fernwood at a standstill

Kelham Bridge is closed due to flooding.

The crossing was reported as closed by the AA at roughly 11.30am.

It reads: "Road closed due to flooding on Trent Lane and Kelham Lane. It is closed both ways from Ollerton Road to Kelham Lane."

The A1 northbound entrance between Balderton and Fernwood is currently at a standstill.

However, no incidents were reported.
