Laser jigsaws stolen from trailer unit in Bingham

Police are appealing for witnesses after thieves broke into a HGV trailer unit on Bingham Industrial Estate on Wednesday night.

The trailer unit was parked inside a secure compound outside one of the warehouses on the estate on Moorbridge Road East.

The thieves cut through the fence of the compound before ripping open the curtain-side of the trailer and stealing 210 Omega WOLF laser jigsaws.

Local officers have examined security camera footage from the compound showing two men wearing dark clothing and hooded tops inside the compound just after midnight.

Police are looking at other security camera footageto try to identify any suspicious vehicles, and are asking the public to contact them if they saw anything unusual in the Moorbridge Road area between 8pm on Wednesday (October 8) and 1am on Thursday (October 9).

They are asking for anyone who is offered the opportunity to buy a laser jigsaw in unusual circumstances to inform them immediately.
