Coffee, cakes and bingo!




Southwell Library hosted a busy coffee morning as visitors streamed into the library to enjoy a coffee and a slice of cake.

The library sold a variety of home-made cakes ranging from chocolate to sponge as further funds were raised for Macmillan cancer support.

As well as taking part in several rounds of online bingo, visitors also had the chance to purchase hand made cards and participate in bric-à-brac, where unwanted items were donated.

Southwell Pink Ladies, a support group for women who have dealt or who are still dealing with breast cancer also participated to show their support.

Margaret Robinson, a member of Southwell Pink Ladies confirmed a total of £728 was raised.
