Forest Live organised by Forestry England is set to return to Sherwood Pines, Nottinghamshire next year following years of silence due to the pandemic
Live concerts at Sherwood Pines announced to return next year following years of pandemic silence.
Forestry England announced that the popular series of summer concerts – Forest Live is returning next summer.
The concerts planned for 2020 including Jools Holland and Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds were cancelled due to the pandemic.
It was announced the festival would return the following year (2021), however, it hasn’t happened for the past three years.
The ticket money raised from the festival is used to maintain the natural areas, run conservation projects and keep growing trees.
Each year, the Forestry Commission plants over seven million trees in the country and protects them as well as wildlife habitats from climate threats.
The event has launched a new website at https://www.forestlive.com/, in which people can sign up for information, updates and pre-sale access.
Forest Live will return to Sherwood Pines in Nottinghamshire, Delamere Forest in Cheshire, Dalby Forest in North Yorkshire, Cannock Chase Fore in Staffordshire, High Lodge, Thetford Forest in Sufford and Westonbirt Arboretum in Gloucestershire.
