Sir Nigel Gresley locomotive steams through Newark, Nottinghamshire

Crowds gathered at railway stations across the area and along tracks to catch a glimpse of one of the most iconic steam locomotives still operating today.

The Sir Nigel Gresley steamed through the Newark Northgate station this morning, (Saturday) to a delighted pack of train enthusiasts who were thrilled to see the blue streak of the engine race by.
