Newark Police are at the scene of a lorry collision on the A617 near Hockerton

Newark and Sherwood Police are at the scenes of a road traffic collision.

The incident happened on the A617, a short distance from Hockerton at around noon.

A lorry is currently blocking the road.

Newark Police said a recovery vehicle is on its way, and the road will be open as soon as possible.

They have advised road users to take an alternative route.

Officers have also confirmed no one has been injured.
