Lorry driver denies causing death by dangerous driving

A lorry driver has denied causing a man's death by dangerous driving.
Mr Keith Manning, 35, of Devon Road, Newark, pleaded not guilty at Nottingham Crown Court today to causing the death of Mr Stephen Marshall by driving his Man tractor unit and trailer dangerously on Wheatgrass Hill (A617), Hockerton, on December 12, 2016.
Mr Manning was bailed and will next appear at Nottingham Crown Court for a pre-trial hearing on May 18.
A trial is listed to take place at the same court on June 11.
