Nottinghamshire Police neighbourhood policing teams join forced in day of action
A vehicle was seized with no insurance, a man was reported for driving without a licence and a lorry driver for using his mobile while tutoring a learner.
These were the offences picked up in just one day by neighbourhood policing teams in the Newark area as they joined forced to tackle issues in the area.
Officers were out on foot patrol engaging with the community and gained some useful information.
During the patrols a vehicle was seized for having no insurance, and the driver was reported for driving without a licence.
A lorry driver was later reported for using a mobile phone while driving, at the same time as tutoring a learner driver.
Other motorists were spoken to at the road side and given advice.
