Lorry driver who died on A50 is Neil Anthony Adams from Balderton

A lorry driver who died in a collision on the A50 near Uttoxeter has been named as Neil Anthony Adams from Balderton.

The 59-year-old was transporting metal when his HGV collided with another lorry on Friday.

An investigation into the circumstances of the crash by Staffordshire Police is ongoing.

Mr Adams worked for the J.R Marriott haulage company of Brunel Drive, Newark. The company declined to comment at the present time.
