More than 150 people took up the offer of a free lung function test at the Buttermarket on Friday.

The tests were made available by the British Lung Foundation and NHS Nottinghamshire County from 9am to 3pm to promote awareness of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).

Of the 158 people that were tested, 28 were referred to their GP for further lung tests.
