A businesswoman from Collingham is appearing in national TV advertising campaign.

Miss Sandie Andrew, of Station Road, was one of four women selected out of over 8,500 VIE at Home employees to promote the cosmetics company.

Miss Andrew hosts make-up parties and sells products for the firm.

She was selected for the advert after being identified as a good role model for the company through photographs and company events.

She said: “It is the first time they have done a TV ad so it will be interesting to see if it gets a good response.

“I was only too happy to take part because I really enjoy my job. So far I have had a good reaction from everybody who has seen it.”

The advert is aimed at recruiting more consultants for the firm. It lasts 40 seconds and features the four women having a make-up party. It was filmed in July and is being shown on daytime TV.

Miss Andrew said: “Filming the ad was something completely new for me, but it was all good fun.”
