Train disruption on route including Newark Northgate station following damage to electrical wiring

There is major disruption to trains from Newark Northgate Station this evening (Tuesday).
LNER have reported a closure of lines between Peterborough and Doncaster, which includes Newark Northgate Station.
It is due to damage to overhead electric wires between Doncaster and Retford.
Trains may be severely delayed or cancelled, and disruption is expected to continue until the end of the day.
Train users are urged to defer their travel until tomorrow.
