Newark-based specialist perimeter security company Ultimation Direct embarks on major expansion after supplying Wembley, Wimbledon, and Kensington Palace
A Newark specialist which has manufactured gates for Wembley, Wimbledon, and Kensington Palace has appointed three new directors as it moves forward with major new expansion plans.
Specialist perimeter security company Ultimation Direct, based on Telford Drive, started just 15 years ago with five employees and has already grown to 50 staff and a £6million turnover.
They have manufactured security gates and turnstiles for the new Wembley Stadium, Tottenham’s new ground, Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Club, and even Kensington Palace.
The company has now embarked on the first phase of a major expansion, including a larger premises and three new directors to help push it to new heights.
New operations director Ricky North and new technical director Matthew Mulholland started work at the company on the shop floor and have been promoted to their new roles this month.
Both are former Magnus Church of England Academy pupils.
New joint managing director John Raynor, a former associate director of a Lincolnshire accountancy firm, also joined the firm last year and works alongside company founder Adrian McGinley and finance director Rebecca Tate.
“I am thrilled to welcome my colleagues to new roles within the company and their appointments mark a really exciting new chapter in the expansion of the business,” said Adrian.
“We have big plans for the future and John, Ricky and Matthew are an integral part of those developments.”
Since it was formed in 2009 the company has, using British steel, fabricated and sold enough gates to stretch 70 continuous miles and the expansion comes after it experienced record sales this year.
John added: “I am delighted to continue my journey with the firm and looking forward to realising the ambitious plans we all have for the future.”
