A1 nearly completely reopened from North Muskam Nottinghamshire upto Upper Morton

Reports have been received that a major road is almost completely re-opened.

The A1 is reportedly open from Carlton-on-Trent north to Upper Morton where it was previously closed due to Storm Babet.

From Carlton-on-Trent south to South Muskham, there is still work happening following ongoing flooding.

Lane two has re-opened on the A1 northbound between the B6325 at North Muskham and the B1164 at Carlton-on-Trent following ongoing flooding.

Lane one remains closed at this time.
