Male allegedly in possession of knife, friction lock baton and Class B drugs in Saxondale/Cropwell Butler area

Police say a male was found with a five-inch blade, friction lock baton and class B drugs.
The male was stopped by officers on patrol in the Saxondale and Cropwell Butler areas on March 3.
He was searched by officers and was allegedly found to have a knife with five-inch blade, a friction lock baton and a small quantity of cannabis.
The male was arrested and later charged with the of possession a bladed article in a public place, possession of an offensive weapon in a public place and possession of a class B drug namely cannabis.
He is due to appear in court later this month.
