Man charged with GBH and driving offences after incident in Stapleford
A 19-year-old man has been charged following an assault in Stapleford.
Police were called just after 12.20am yesterday (April 18) to a report of an assault in Moorfield Court, Stapleford.
A man received minor injuries in the incident.
Jake Rollinson, of Hickings Lane in Stapleford, has been charged with attempted grievous bodily harm, common assault, dangerous driving, driving without insurance, and possession of cannabis.
Rollinson has been remanded in custody to appear at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court tomorrow (20 April 2020).
A 23-year-old man was also arrested on suspicion of assault and has been released under investigation. A woman who was arrested has been released with no further action to be taken.
Detective Sergeant Simon Harrison, who is investigating the incident, said: “If there is anyone who saw what happened they should call Nottinghamshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 13 of 18 April 2020.”
