Man arrested after A52 crash

A 44-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol following a crash on the A52 at around 5pm on Sunday.

The incident happened at the junction between Cropwell Road and the A52 near Radcliffe.

The car collided with street furniture. No other vehicles were involved.

The road was reopened at around 6pm.
