Man arrested and released under investigation following death of cyclist at A607 at Leadenham near Troops garage yesterday




A 36-year-old man has been arrested and released under investigation following the death of a cyclist.

Emergency services were called to the A607 at Leadenham near Troops garage where a black BMW car and a cyclist had been in collision.

The cyclist, a 43-year-old man, was seriously injured and taken to Queen’s Medical Centre, Nottingham, for treatment.

Lincolnshire Police want to hear from anyone who was in the area before or about 5.30pm yesterday (Monday) which is when the collision happened.

Anyone who saw the BMW involved, the cyclist before the collision, or the collision itself, is asked to ring Lincolnshire Police on 101, quoting incident 339 of January 7.

The road re-opened at 11pm Monday night.
