Man breaks arm in A52 collision

A pedestrian suffered a badly broken arm after being hit by two cars near Radcliffe yesterday evening. (Sunday)

The incident happened on the A52 at about 8.45pm.

The 60-year-old man was taken to hospital.

Inspector John Fryer of Nottinghamshire Police said the incident was reported as very critical life threatening injury but the man's injuries were actually less severe.

He said: "He's not in any danger at this stage."

Police are appealing for witnesses.
