Man charged with attempted murder

A 54-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder after a 50-year-old woman was stabbed in Bilsthorpe on Monday.
The woman remains in a serious but stable condition in hospital.
John Roger Harvey, of Bramble Close, Bilsthorpe, appeared at Nottingham Magistrates Court today (October 12).
He is due to appear at Nottingham Crown Court on November 9.
