The A46 at Flintham has reopened after the collision, but a 42-year-old man has died of his injuries




Nottinghamshire Police are appealing for witnesses after a collision on the A46 southbound at Flintham at 8.50pm yesterday.

A 42-year-old man was taken to Nottingham’s Queen’s Medical Centre but later died of his injuries. His family has been informed.

The incident is believed to have been a collision between a moped and one or more cars.

Case Investigator Louise Melbourne said: “We’re working to understand the circumstances of this incident and I would like to encourage anyone who may have any dashcam footage to get in touch with us.”

Anyone with information should call Nottinghamshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 869 of December 11, 2019.
