Man in serious condition after industrial accident

A factory worker is in a serious condition following an industrial accident earlier this morning.
The police and ambulance service were called to the Noble Foods factory, North Scarle, at 3.15am after a man believed to be in his forties suffered a head injury.
He was taken to Lincoln County Hospital before being transferred to the Royal Hallamshire Hospital, Sheffield, where he is in intensive care.
The incident has been referred to the Health and Safety Executive.
