Man rescued from the River Trent in Newark by fire crews

A man was rescued from the River Trent in Newark yesterday (Monday).
Newark fire crews were called to an incident near Mather Road, Newark at around 10.38am.
A boat, short extension ladder and throw lines were used to rescue the man.
After being recovered by firefighters the man was treated by paramedics.
Crews had left the scene by 11.17am.
