Man taken to hospital after Coddington crash

A man was taken to hospital following a crash in Coddington.

Nottinghamshire Police were called to Beckingham Road at 6.45am to the incident, which involved a van.

The vehicle left the road, went down a bank and into some trees.

Diversions were put in place near Coddington Community Centre while the scene was being cleared.

The man was taken to Queen's Medical Centre, Nottingham.

Less than 10 minutes earlier, part of the central reservation near the turn-off for the sounthbound A1 was damaged when a car struck it.

No one was hurt.
