Hundreds of fans are expected to descend on Riverside Park this weekend for the return of Newark Festival.

In addition to chart-toppers McFly, the Ellis Mathers presents Newark Festival line-up will be Gabrielle, Lemar and Vernon Kay, who will be DJ-ing.
McFly are one of the most successful chart acts of their era with seven UK number one singles, six top-ten albums, six sell-out tours, 4m tickets and 10m albums sold worldwide.
They said: “We’re stoked to be playing Newark Festival this summer. We are desperate to get out and play to our fans.
“Whilst we’ve been trying to keep in contact with our fans online, nothing’s the same as being on stage. Bring it on.”
Gates open at Riverside Park at 3pm when DJ Ryan Arnold will open the entertainment.
Next up is Lemar, who has has notched up seven top-ten singles and has well over 2m album sales under his belt.

Vernon Kay will entertain the festival family with a DJ set.

Gabrielle made an immediate impact when her debut single Dreams spent three weeks at number one in the summer of 1993.

Her catalogue of hits includes another eight top-ten hits, notably Out Of Reach, which featured in Bridget Jones’s Diary, If You Ever with East 17 and Give Me A Little More Time.
More recently, her latest album, Do It Again, charted at number four in the UK album charts.
