The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for today

A yellow weather warning has been issued by the Met Office.

Heavy rain is expected to last all day until 11pm tonight, bringing some disruption from flooding.

The Met Office is warning that the heavy rain could cause damage to some buildings and fast flowing or deep floodwater is possible, as well as delays or cancellations to train and bus services.

Be aware that there is also the possibility of power cuts and loss of other services to some homes and businesses.
