The Met Office releases yellow weather warning of snow for East Midlands

A yellow weather warning of snow has been released by the Met Office across the East Midlands.

Snow is predicted from 10pm tonight (Wednesday) until 10am tomorrow morning.

The predicted snowfall is likely to cause some traffic disruption to railways and roads.

There are also warnings in place concerning untreated footpaths and cycle paths that may become hazardous due to icy surfaces.
