Newark to bask in sun on Saturday before summer weather comes to a close
Newark is set to bask in the sunshine this weekend.
Temperatures are expected to soar to 23 degrees across the district with uninterrupted sun bringing the heat.
But it could be one of the last true summer days of the year as showers are set to start on Sunday afternoon.
September will be brought to a close by a spell of unsettled weather, with Monday seeing some breakthroughs of sun, before a heavy show at night.
Pushing forward into October early predictions point to some fine and settled weather with bright days, but mist, fog and increasingly some frost overnight.
Rain may appear further into the month.
Temperatures are likely to be close to the average, but with settled weather this will bring warmer days and cooler nights.
