Miss Newark makes Miss England top seven

Miss Newark and District, 23-year-old Stephanie Pywell, was placed in the top seven at the Miss England 2010 finals last night (September 1).

Stephanie, from Darlton, competed against 60 other girls from across the country in an evening of glitz and glamour hosted at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole infront of a crowd of 5,000 and national media.

Stephanie, who is currently the British international women's high jump champion, said it had definitely been a different experience and she had enjoyed every moment.
